In beautiful Palm Beach, Florida we planned and designed an incredible weekend birthday extravaganza that will spark your senses and dazzle your mind!
Upon arrival at The Breakers, an exquisite and historic resort, guests were greeted in the lobby with sparkling drinks and classic Lilly Pulitzer scarves in addition to their lavish welcome boxes waiting in their suites. Guests were then escorted to their rooms to relax before they were treated to a delicious welcome dinner at one of the resorts many restaurants.
The first morning, guests woke early for breakfast in the resort’s restaurant “The Circle”, a stunning setting featuring 30-foot frescoed ceilings. After they were escorted to a private beach for ocean activities and fun in the sun. Early afternoon came and it was time to relax. For this special afternoon treat we transformed the Mediterranean Ballroom into a luxurious and relaxing day spa. Complete with private massage therapy rooms, facial treatment beds and cozy seating for manicures and pedicures, guests were pampered like princesses.
After all the treatments were complete, a draped wall parted, to reveal an entirely different environment as guests entered into our Tea Room. The room was draped in soft white and highlighted with blush and sherbert toned lighting. Rose gobos added texture to the floor as the birthday girl’s monogram highlighted the walls. Crystal and iron chandeliers adorned with clusters of roses, hydrangea and orchids hung over a long rectangular dining table. The table was filled with an abundance of stylized florals incorporating all shades of spring blooms and fruits accents. Each place setting featured exquisite vintage-inspired china, a Battenburg lace monogrammed napkin and a custom-designed menu. A delicious spread of fresh fruit, pastries and fresh squeezed juices were available to guests as they continued to relax and enjoy this high tea experience.
That same evening, our guests dined at a well-known restaurant in the Palm Beach area. We designed the private room in an Asian inspired theme that related to the menu, with neutral tones and accents of lime green, gold, electric blue and touches of red. After dinner, guests were invited back to the “Gold Room” at The Breakers, where we created a surprise dance party with unique late night snacks as well as awesome tunes from DJ Splyce and excellent entertainment by Elan Artists.
The next day contained more action and excitement for our guests. We kicked the day off with an early morning scavenger hunt where we collaborated with select stores that were open only for our guests. Once a winner was named, the party moved to the polo fields where we broke the group up into teams for a friendly competition of fun obstacle courses!
The final evening encompassed a night of glamour and excitement! We began the evening outside on the lawn with hors-d’oeuvres and live fire dancers. Guests were then escorted by electronic violinists into the Venetian Ballroom which we divided into two parts. The first section was transformed into a chic yet sultry and bold red dining room. Complete with Venetian glass chandeliers, an abundance of red roses, and crystal adornments, each place setting was comprised of gold chargers, gold flatware, gold-rimmed glassware, monogrammed napkins and customized menus. The fabulous team at The Breakers served a nine-course dinner where each dish was more unique and delicious than the last. A jazz trio playing tunes from the 20’s and 30’s was the perfect accompaniment to the meal.
As dinner concluded, guests were escorted by dancers and acrobats into the grand finale event. This culmination took place in the other half of the Venetian Ballroom which was completely transformed into a mystical fusion of purple and blue. The entertainment took everyone’s breath away with two incredible shows from Zen Arts, including aerialists, burlesque dancers and more. A surprise performance from Grammy Nominated artist, NE-YO stole the night but guests continued to dance into the wee hours of the morning with tunes from our amazing DJ, Splyce!
This birthday weekend extravaganza came to a close with a charming brunch before the very last activity, a game of croquet. We sent the guests with packed to-go meals from The Breakers on their way safely to their destinations. An amazing time was had by all!
